About a week or two ago my tModLoader stopped working. Me and my friend had been playing on a world just fine all the way up to Duke Fishron, I called him and we both started Terraria as per usual. When I opened Terraria it was the regular screen, not tMod, just the regular Terraria screen. I thought it was weird so I went into my Terraria files and opened up tModLoader from there. I don't remember the exact message it said, which is unfortunate since I'm sure that would really help to figure out what went wrong, but there was an error box before I even was able to open up Terraria and then I would have to close the error message.

One big problem was the fact that I had tried to install tMod a few times, so I had random bits of tMod files. I also had saved regular Terraria and probably had two or three of those.

So I uninstalled Terraria and deleted literally every Terraria and tModLoader file on my computer except for my player and world files, which I saved on my desktop and currently still reside there. When I went to search my PC for any remnants of Terraria. There were a few files but they weren't able to be deleted, I tried to move them to my desktop or recycle bin but that didn't work. I figured the computer might have just still thought they were there even though they weren't and reinstalled Terraria.

I tried to install tMod on this Terraria but from what I remember it said it couldn't find Terraria files, it had all the tMod files but it couldn't find any Terraria files.

So I uninstalled and purged every piece of Terraria I could find and reinstalled Terraria a few times. If I could at least find my Terraria files I would be happy, I could just paste my players and worlds in and not have tMod but at least have my characters.

When I open Terraria it functions normally, but to play with my friend I need tMod, any advice? Also if you want to look at the link just copy and paste it into google because steam doesn't like the link.
